The Vineyards

There are three individual vineyard sites owned by the family, situated in the Margaret River wine region. These sites have been acquired by the family over four generations. The original vineyard site in Carbunup was purchased from the government as crown land and then cleared by the familly in the 20's, 30's and 40's. In addition to two main plantings of vineyard, the Carbunup area provides pasture for the Credaro's sheep grazing operation.

There is also a vineyard situated in the sub-region of Treeton on a north facing slope, overlooking an eight acre dam. This property is home to a portion of the Credaro Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc Semillon. A fourth property has been recently acquired in the Willyabrup sub-region, which will add further depth to the sourcing of fruit for the family range of wines in the future.

The Winery

The Credaro Winery is situated just north of the Carbunup River on Bussell Highway. This facility was built in 2003 with the capacity to crush up to 700 tonnes. The winery houses all of the Credaro wines for the two labels and it also provides contract winemaking services to several other wine producers from the region. The winery is equipped with state of the art machinery from around the world, which is critical to maximise quality of all wines produced by Credaro.
